Biography

Clas acquired a PhD in Automatic Control from the Division of Automatic Control at Linköping University in December 2018. In 2011, he received a MSc degree in engineering physics from Uppsala University. During his studies he spent a year as an exchange student at National University of Singapore studying statistics and computer science. For his master's thesis he developed a control system for UAVs and before beginning his PhD studies he worked with software development at SAAB for their next generation fighter aircraft.

Clas is interested in sensor fusion in general, with a focus on target tracking. Projects have mainly involved tracking using cameras as sensors, both stationary and as part of UAV platforms.
