Biography:

I received my MSc in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering at Linköping University in 2008. Since then I have been a Ph.D. student at the Computer Vision Laboratory.

Research interests include registration, geometry, non-linear optimisation, rolling shutter and pushbroom sensors, video stabilisation and parallel computing.

Check out our tutorial Computer Vision on Rolling Shutter Cameras at CVPR 2012.

Project

I'm currently working in a project on rolling shutter cameras: Virtual Global Shutters. Project funded by CENIIT.

A data-set for rolling-shutter evaluation is available here.
The dataset is described in the CVPR paper: Per-Erik Forssén and Erik Ringaby, Rectifying rolling shutter video from hand-held devices, CVPR 2010, IEEE Computer Society [PDF]. [Supplementary material]
