Biography and brief educational history

My name is Oskar Leufven. I was born in 1981 and grow up outside Malexander, some 40km south of Linköping. I received a M.S. in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering - International (Yi) in 2007 from LiU. The mandatory third year (04-05) abroad was spent in Innsbruck, Austria. In December 2010 I received the Licenciate of Engineering Degree, and in May 2013 I defended my PhD thesis. Very brief "CV":

Research

Current research topics include turbo charger modeling and control for both energy optimization as well as transient response for advanced charging systems.

Before starting my PhD-studies, I was working as a research engineer at Vehicular Systems. I was responsible for changing the engine in dynamometer 1, along with the control system in the engine laborotory.

Misc

I am the current division champion in both poker as well as in "folk"-racing old Volvo 240's around a track.
