Ylva Jung's research concerns system identification of dynamical, nonlinear systems, or rather finding the inverse of such systems. This is interesting i.e. in predistortion where a filter is designed in order to reduce the interference of nonlinearities. In this case, the predistorter has been applied to a radio frequency power amplifier. See also Research.
The work is financed by the Excellence Center at Linköping - Lund in Information Technology (ELLIIT).
Ylva Jung has been teching assistant in the basic control course för engineering students (TSRT12 and TSRT03), the continuation course (TSIU04) and the advanced course (TSRT62 Modelling and Simulation) as well as laboratory supervision in various courses. She has also been involved in three project courses, TFYY51 Engineering project and TDDC10 Perspectives to Computer Technology for first year students and TSRT10 Control Project Laboratory for fifth year students.
