Lennart Ljung

Background

Lennart Ljung was born in 1946 in Malmö, Sweden. and received his Ph.D. in 1974 in Automatic Control from Lund Institute of Technology. He has been Professor of the chair of Automatic Control in Linköping since 1976. He has initited and been director of a chain of broad research centra: ISIS (1995-2005), VISIMOD (2002-2007), MOVIII (2006-2012), CADICS (2008-2010, center still continues), LINK-SIC (2007-2010, center still continues), ELLIIT (2009-2013, center still continues). He is emeritus since 2013.
