Gustaf Hendeby: Personal

The story of Gustaf Hendeby, me, began a cold and snowy day in December of 1978 in an unknown town called Stenstorp, just outside Falköping, Sweden. My partents soon decided to move on, and I ended up growing up in Vadstena. Vadstena is most known for Saint Bridget that lived and founded a convent there.

Before I left Vadstena for Linköping to study at university I completed high school at Platenskolan, Motala. While attending high school I had time to make a detour to the US and a year at the catholic high school Villa Maria Academy in Erie, PA.

Y-logo When it was finally time for me to attend university I moved to Linköping and signed up for the Y program (M.Sc. program in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering) at Linköpings universitet. Four and a half year later, right on schedule, I received my Master of Science degree in Applied Physics and Eletrical Engineering and went on to start my position as Ph.D. student at the Division of Automatic Control (at that time Control Communication Systems at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Linköpings universitet (University of Linköping). Some years late, I have my doctors title.
