Postdoc Chih Feng Lee

Dr Chih Feng Lee is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Linköping University.

He received a B.E. degree (with honours) in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and a Ph.D. from the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2005 and 2014 respectively. His dissertation dealt with the controller design and implementation of a prototype automotive electromechanical brake (EMB), where he explored several model-based control techniques to achieve fast closed-loop clamp force tracking performance. Additionally, a novel brake judder attenuation method was proposed, in which the EMB was utilised to actively compensate for the judder vibration caused by the variation in thickness around the disc surface.

His research activities are centred around developing and applying advanced control techniques to practical problems, where he has a special interest in automotive applications.

He is currently involved in the iQmatic project, where he is responsible for developing models and estimation algorithms for an autonomous truck.
